If backporting is too much trouble, the attached one-line change fixes
the problem.

It's revision 2107 in subversion - see
http://synfig.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/synfig?view=rev&revision=2107
once sourceforge fix their subversion server or
http://synfig.org/Source_code for the repository paths.
