[Bug 297672] [NEW] Xvidcap freezes on capturing audio

Isn't possible to capture audio with xvidcap on Ubuntu 8.10. Gnome Sound
Recorder is working fine, but when I try to do a screencast with audio
using xvidcap it hangs up and is needed to finish its process to close
it.

I think it can be a problem related to pulseaudio or alsa support.

The problem could be reproduced on 3 computers, with different hardware,
here.

I already tried to use 'padsp xvidcap' and the same thing occurs.
