I think maybe you used the option wrongly, here is my line from fstab.
(exept I made it a bit more anonymous)

sshfs#user at login1.example.com:/home/user    /mnt/sshdisk    fuse
user,noauto,fsname=sshfs#user at login1.example.com:/home/user 0 0

(this is supposed to be one line in fstab)
