Hi Bryce,
  In my case this is a bug I can't get to reproduce on request on 8.10 so it would be difficult to say if there was any difference on Jaunty, however if mrans2000 has also seen the same backtrace it would suggest there is something in there.  I've probably had only 1 or 2 X crashes since upgrading to Intrepid back in october so it's certainly a very rare failure.
