Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Compiz used to work fine in Intrepid, but after upgrade to jaunty some
effects (for example, zoom animation for minimize/restore or fade
animation for open/close) become extremely slow (1 or 2 fps) and buggy
(i'm able to see a half-restored window, filled with random lines). The
change in performance cannot be observed with a benchmark plugin,
because the plugin slows down/freezes together with minimizing window.
lspci: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile
GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)
ii xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.5.1-1ubuntu6
ii xorg 1:7.4~5ubuntu7
ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.5.99.3-0ubuntu3
** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
