Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gjiten

Description:	Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release:	8.04

gjiten:
  Installed: 2.6-1
  Candidate: 2.6-1
  Version table:
 *** 2.6-1 0
        500 http://jp.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

When I clicked on Kanjidic then check Search By Radical and then click
on Show Radical List, a small window should appear that contains many
box of kanji characters on a push button widget that I can click. The
window appear in blank.

Similar error happened to J-ben
(http://www.vultaire.net/software/jben/index.php.en) program I compiled
myself. When I use its Tools -> Handwriting Recognition and make some
valid strokes, a list of kanjis will appear. I can make strokes but no
kanjis appear.

I think these two problems has nothing to do with the program themselves
but with the library the are using. I do not know what library and how
to fix it.

** Affects: gjiten (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
