Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you reported has been fixed in the final
release of Xubuntu 8.10.

 $ sudo apt-get install gvim
[sudo] password for charlie:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package gvim is a virtual package provided by:
  vim-gtk 1:7.1.314-3ubuntu3
  vim-gnome 1:7.1.314-3ubuntu3
You should explicitly select one to install.
E: Package gvim has no installation candidate

Since vim-gtk is in the Universe repository, if you do not have that
repository enabled, it will fail to install.

Thanks again for your bug report. Please continue to report bugs you
find.

** Changed in: command-not-found (Ubuntu)
