I'm tried to upgrade some packages from Jaunty:

libdrm2_2.4.1-0ubuntu7_i386.deb
xserver-xorg-video-intel_2.5.1-1ubuntu5_i386.deb
libdrm-intel1_2.4.1-0ubuntu7_i386.deb

But it didn't fix the support for opengl 2:

 glxheads
glxheads: exercise multiple GLX connections (any key = exit)
Usage:
  glxheads xdisplayname ...
Example:
  glxheads :0 mars:0 venus:1
Name: :0
  Display: 0x9cf7008
  Window: 0x8200002
  Context: 0x9d03768
  GL_VERSION: 1.4 Mesa 7.2
  GL_VENDOR: Tungsten Graphics, Inc
  GL_RENDERER: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 965GM 20061102 x86/MMX/SSE2
