  After upgrading from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 xdiskusage 1.48-7ubuntu1 shows
  no text. The fonts are the same color as the background. They flicker
  black white when clicked upon.

+ I freshly installed abiword and it has the same behavior.
+ For completeness sake I should ad that my graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 and I use NVIDIA driver 96.43.09
