Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt-p2p

Hello,
since I didn't found an upstream bug tracker for apt-p2p and tried at the IRC channel but cause of time zones and so on I didn't reach the developer, I file this bug here:
If I use apt-p2p and try to update my system via "update manager" in gnome it sometimes fails. In 95% of the cases it works great.
But sometimes the update manager says:
E: Konnte Lock /var/cache/apt/archives/lock nicht bekommen - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Das Download-Verzeichnis konnte nicht gesperrt werden
(I try to translate: E: Could not lock the download folder)
Without apt-p2p I never had this problem. If the error occurs I click on okay and try it again and then it also works.
My theory: Update manager looks once a day for updates, and if there are any, then it downloads them automatically (Says apt-p2p to download them)
I think the error happens while apt-p2p downloads something in the background and if you the update manager in the same time it fails. I think the error only occurs if that is the case.
If I can help, feel free to ask.
Thanks.

** Affects: apt-p2p (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
