[Bug 306767] [NEW] crash after new file and then stopping playback

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: audacity

start audacity, load an audio file or audacity project etc., start
playing the audio (spacebar), open a new project (^N), then close this
project (no need to save), then stop playing the audio (spacebar).
audacity crashes.

3.) audio stops playing and i am able to continue working in audacity
4.) audacity crashes
