Thanks for the debdiff/patch, Nathan.

I've cleaned it up a bit and fixed the issue with the "clean" target,
which did not remove the generated files.

Unfortunately, it now fails to build in my Jaunty pbuilder (i386).

I'm attaching the new debdiff and the build log.
