I should mention that I just upgraded to kernel 2.6.27-9-generic. Once
again the module was build without error. But, upon trying to load it I
got the same error:

FATAL: Error inserting vboxadd
(/lib/modules/2.6.27-9-generic/updates/dkms/vboxadd.ko): No such device
or address
