The nvidia drivers in intrepid have sometimes serious problems when
dealing with docks (Awn or Cairo-dock). 180.XX seems to work better, so
you can try to update it.

About the glitz support, cairo is not compiled with glitz because there
is some problems with some drivers, making it unsusable. But glitz
upstream seems quite active, so maybe we will have a better support in
the futur.

I'm closing this one for now as it's seems to be a drivers issue or/and
a cairo issue. Please open a bug on one of this package if you have
problem.
