[Bug 304604] [NEW] cursor over tooltip -> window previews disappear

Ubuntu 8.10 64bit (upgraded from 8.04)
Gnome / Compiz

I doubt this is a bug is only present in a certain version of some
package, but if someone tells me which packages to list I will do it.


Expected behavior:
If you have the Window Previews plug-in enabled, you can usually move the cursor around over an open window's slot and see the preview all the time.

Observed behavior:
If you move the cursor over the tooltip (containing the window's title) that pops up, the window preview disappears and the tooltip jumps to the right (as expected, in order to be once again to the right of the cursor).

If you now move the cursor in any direction on the slot but not moving
it over the tooltip again, the preview reappears and is visible just
fine.

Moving the cursor over the tooltip again makes the preview disappear
again.

My first guess would be that when the mouse position is checked it is
reported as not being over the slot but over the tooltip instead.
