[Bug 94376] Crash when trying to add commands

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: multitail

Whenever I try to add a command like "top" or "ps" to multitail, it
crashes out with a segmentation fault.

Running Edgy with Multitail 4.0.6-1

I'll attach the crash log next.
