A little bit more update I did this :-

shirish at Mugglewille:~$ dpkg -L unifont
/.
/usr
/usr/share
/usr/share/fonts
/usr/share/fonts/X11
/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc
/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc/unifont.pcf.gz
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/unifont
/usr/share/doc/unifont/Readme.gz
/usr/share/doc/unifont/copyright
/usr/share/doc/unifont/changelog.Debian.gz

Now while there is an archive in
/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc/unifont.pcf.gz & there are other font archives
files there is still nothing of anything in /usr/lib/X11/
