[Bug 2986] Re: xemacs can't get fontset resource for Input Method

There are two workarounds, which may also be useful in determining the
cause of the bug:

1. set LANG environment variable to "C" before running xemacs: "LANG=C xemacs"
2. run "xset fp rehash" prior to running xemacs (only needs to be done once per X session, but it will still print out "Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion" in the console)
