Public bug reported:
Steps to reproduce:
1. sudo aptitude install apt-proxy
2. sudo apt-proxy-import /var/cache/apt/archives
(I haven't touched any configuration file).
I get a lot of the following:
2006/09/13 14:21 EEST [-] [import] python-numeric_24.2-5build1_i386.deb skipped - no suitable backend found
2006/09/13 14:21 EEST [-] [apt_pkg] No Packages files available for security backend
2006/09/13 14:21 EEST [-] [apt_pkg] No Packages files available for ubuntu-security backend

This is definitely a configuration issue ( I will look into it now). But hitting ctrl+c while all this flows by makes apt-proxy-import crash with the attached traceback.
This is on current edgy, x86:
python-twisted 2.4.0-2
python 2.4.3-11ubuntu1
apt-proxy 1.9.33ubuntu2
