Edgy is frozen for release now. Debian haven't updated their package yet
either, it will definitely be updated for ubuntu 7.04 if debian update
their package in the next 5 months or so..

Updating the stable release requires following the proper procedure -
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates Someone should probably
talk to a MOTU to see if this is likely to happen and if someone is
willing to do the work. Dropping by #ubuntu-motu on freenode is probably
the best way...
