Here's my two cents...

nautilus-open-terminal_0.6-0ubuntu1_i386 (Dapper) isn't working.
Regardless of what directory you are in, it will open the GNOME Terminal
only in your home directory.

As far as previous versions are concerned, I can't speak to them.  But I
update daily and it's not been working for at least a few weeks now (I
don't recall attempting to use it before that).
