I had trouble with the rpm previously, however, I did just discover that
you need to run a postint.sh script that will setup the symlinks so the
binary and especially the plugins are in the right location/path.

A deb could be setup to do this automatically and I guess that's what
the realplayer package does.

Anyway, I guess you an remove it unless someone can update the package.
Unfortunately, I don't know how.
