The channels are automatically connected for me in AMD64 with muse muse_0.7.1+0.7.2pre5-1ubuntu1 (+ the RTC patch I need to run under AMD64). -- muse dont connect the audio chanels to jack on startup https://launchpad.net/bugs/5688
