Music-applet is in Debian unstable for a while now. To make this applet work on Dapper, an upgrade of rhythmbox-applet is needed. At the moment the package in Dapper is completely useless. -- rhythmbox-applet doesn't work with new rhythmbox https://launchpad.net/bugs/2564
