The package reads all values of the configuration file and uses them for
the new one. So if you keep the original layout and change the values
you are fine. If you use documented options, please tell me about them
and I could add them.

I never had *any* problems on *Debian* wrt to updating MyDNS, so you
should really be more specific. "Changes to the system" doesn't help me
neither.
