Let me add for further readers how to work around: Install "squeak- image" and unzip the files /usr/lib/squeak/*.gz to your ~/squeak/ - afterwards there should be two files: Squeak3.8-6665.image and Squeak3.8-6665.changes. -- The inisqueak script doesn't appear to exist https://launchpad.net/bugs/2930
