Dimos, I tried your suggestion. ppc just stays in needs building, probably due to Adam's checker script (not quite sure what it does, but he mentioned s.th. about it when I asked him).

which leaves me still with two options:
1) beg Adam (or another buildd-admin) hard enough to magically supply the needed sbcl build-dependency
2) ask for an UVF-exception for 0.9.9 (and retry bootstrapping it with clisp, with a fallback option to 1)).

A feeling in the my guts tells me to go for 2), but I must admit that I don't know enough about sbcl to make a choice here. Any suggestions?
