Description: Hybrid Intrusion Detection System [ Network sensor ]
Prelude is a general-purpose hybrid intrusion detection system.
Its goals are performance and modularity. It is divided in several
 parts :
  - The Prelude NIDS sensor, responsible for real time packet capture
and analysis, featuring a signature engine, plugins for protocol
    analysis, and intrusion detection plugins.
  - The Prelude report server, collecting data from Prelude sensors,
    and generating user-readable reports.
 .
This package contains the Prelude Network Intrusion Detection Sensor.
Bugs: mailto:ubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com
Origin: Ubuntu

It appears that there is a libprelude0 in sarge:
http://packages.debian.org/stable/libs/libprelude0

it would probably work if we just pulled it in, and rebuilt. need any more info?
I would love to have a working prelude package in ubuntu.
