Which aterm is this?

According to aterm.sourceforge.net, and 1.0.0 was released on 05 July 2005.  I
just built it and tested it under Ubuntu 5.10. It doesn't work right with
LANG=en_US.UTF-8 (e.g. doesn't handle sigle quotes generated by groff correctly,
same as 0.4.2).

I see no indication in the changelog or the source code that aterm attempts to
support UTF8.
