well
running wpasupplicant together with a ndiswrapper card works with the same config (the driver is changed, from madwifi to ndiswrapper). So it's definitly not a wpasupplicant problem, and the problem only appears when using wpa1.

I'll have to update my router to accept as well wpa2, let's see after
ubz what will happen with wpa2.
