I noticed symptom of this problem. If I go to a website and it doesn't
work, then I'll ping my default router to see if the problem is my
wireless access. While the ping is running, I see the wireless light on
my access point blink at 1 second intervals. That makes me think that
the laptop is transmitting but not receiving.
