Not able to reproduce it on a breezy i386 installation with the same
version. Can you give a list of the extra jpilot packages you have
installed (jpilot-plugins, jpilot-mail, etc)?

Have you tried moving the .jpilot directory in your home directory out
of the way and see what happens then?
