I also discovered that the behaviour depends on whether I tell it to keep anjuta
or not.  Here are 2 sessions.  In the first I say N to anjuta.  It goes on to
ask about gnome-devel.  In the second I (S)kip anjuta.  It then doesn't ask
about gnome-devel at all:
