Not sure what bugs you are talking about.  But as for the crash in
acroread, no this won't fix it.  That crash is independent of the scim
version, but a c++ ABI issue instead.

No, the packages are not safe to be used as is in breezy, as the c++ ABI
is different in breezy and dapper.  As for the backport, I would like to
do it, but it depends on my time and backport policy (the packages can't
be backported as is, but need modifications).
