If BART's service hours does not meet your needs, and if you're
feeling adventurous enough to take local buses, another option
is to use the "Public Transit Trip Planner" at: http://511.org
(The planner on this site, which specializes on SF Bay Area
transportation, provides more results than Google Maps.)
This can take up to three rides on buses from different transit
agencies to get to the SF airport during off hours, so it's best if
you're traveling with minimal luggage and are very skilled at
finding bus stops in places you haven't been before.
Hint: Use '1001 Broadway' and 'Oakland' as the starting point,
and 'San Francisco International Airport' as the destination.
