I upgraded my KDE net-book to the beta release using the local repository. I had no hassle. I did it in the evening on my home UHF and generally downloaded just under 200kb. The only issues I have had, and reported as bugs:<BR>
1. Evolution crashes when you try to close it.<BR>
2. Need to close and reopen skype when the machine wakes up from sleep.<BR>
