I took the course sometime ago although I was already somewhat seasoned
in Linux; I still found some of the material in the curriculum to be
useful.<br>
<br>
However even though Linux is Linux you will still get to appreciate
some of the Debian tools in Ubuntu e.g <i>apt.</i> There are funny
files like <i>/etc/inittab</i> in RedHat you will not find these in
Ubuntu. Also the nfs commands are very different. <br>
<br>
You would also like to try the Linux Networking admin course if, like
the all-for-windows lady at computerworld.com, are wondering what BIND
really is.<br>

I'd like to recommend a course thats been done at UZ to anyone starting out in ubuntu.look out for linux administration.They don't use ubuntu but some of the commands can be used from the course they use.They are currently using red hat enterprise but hopefullly in future they will use ubuntu it covers basics to setting up servers so I really recommend it I have done it.
