Thanks i installed the guest packages sudo aptitude install virtualbox-guest utils or something like that :).i also installed the extra package from www.virtual.org .apologies for being lazy!

There are virtual box extras that you will have to install and you can
go on the internet where there is a latest vbox you will see those
extras.Not a pain to install (just apt-get install xxxxx.xxxxx)and
after that you are ready to USB
