GOT IT!!!
I think I was just too lazy to read and follow instructions as they were.
Finally sat down and looked at all the instructions and connected. Happy to
be still on linux.Sinclair, I tried the first method and when it worked I
then decided to look at the second option. Thanks everyone for lending a
hand.
