Subject: [Ubuntu-ZW] Repository Server Updates
Hi Guys....
Just to advise you, that i'll be updating the local repository soon....
Heres a short summary of what will be going on:
- Repository update to Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 --> 32 and 64bit versions
- Repository update to Debian 6.0 --> 64bit only
- Removal of Debian 4.0
- Removal of Ubuntu 8.10
I am aware that some people are using 8.10 at the moment, but it is worth
noting that on this release, canonical provide updates/security fixes for 18
months from release day.
According to my calculations, updates for this release will expire next
month in April. So it is HIGHLY recommended to update to the newer release
(either 9.10 or 10.04) as soon as possible.
