Most modems work on Ubuntu. Whilst on the subject, I have noticed that
Econet's 3g hype is more of words than action. If you really need 3g that
works try Powertel's EVDO/3G. They charge $50/month but their speed is good.
P.S I am not affilliated with these people. Just pleased with their service
