CDMA FWT internet guide

1. Generally ensure that your serial / usb drivers for your cables are
installed. (its important to know where your modem is connected USB0 or TTY1
etc.

2. I have noted that if you install wvdial generally you are able to connect
any external modem. All you need to do is to run wvdialconf, a configuration
file is saved and you can edit in /etc/wvdial.conf

3. If wvdialconf fails to see a modem, then repeat step one until you have
installed your modem on a recognizable port.

4. for those who are a bit more technical install minicom in order to query
your modem

Hope that helps

Could anyone help me set up Huawei CDMA to work with Ubuntu. I have Huawei
3410 FWT phone that connects to the computer via USB. Has anybody been able
to successfully set this up? Thank you in advance
