Ubuntu and gprs connectivity

Friends,

I guess we have all heard that Econet is going to offer GPRS internet
connectivity "real soon now". It will be faster than dial-up at least
and should cover whereever they cover.

Anyone has any experience on how to make this work from Ubuntu, Kubuntu 
etc? I guess we talk mainly about using your cellphone via bluetooth as 
a modem - somehow...
