Release Party

Hi all,

This is just a brief update to let you know that the party on Saturday,
celebrating the release of Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) was a great
success, even though we didn't get as many attendees as we had hoped. 

Our thanks go to those who attended, particularly the representatives
from CSZ and the Linux Chicks who travelled all the way down from
Mutare!

A big thank you also to Webdev for hosting the event, and to Harvest
International for providing excellent snacks. I'm sure a good time was
had by all present.

The Web site team is much closer to completing the site now, and when it
is up and running photos of the release party will definitely be
featured.
