[Ubuntu-zh] 请教如何将ubuntu安装到移动硬盘并且在不插移动硬盘的时候不影响正常开机？

No, it won't, except the file system on your portable HDD is damaged.

You should edit the grub menu with your correct "boot" device (portable
HDD), if you are not sure, you can "c" or "ctrl-c" into the grub shell, try
the command of "ls", you will get all of the device number. try to identify
your real "boot" device.

I've been using such way for a long long time, til yesterday, the portable
HDD root fs is damaged, i've download the part magic to fix it, since the
sysrescurecd doesn't work.
