[Ubuntu-zh] how to build a new kernel(2.6.18) under ubuntu 6.06

Hi All,
        while I run 'make menuconfig' command ,there are some error such as:
" error: sys/types.h stat.h curses.h :no such file or directory"

        how to get those header files and know the package dependence
relation.
