[Ubuntu-zh] ubuntu or FreeBSD

Hi
i am dealing with a gateway server in recent days.
for some reason it is time to do a re-install
then come to the new issue:
Ubuntu server or FreeBSD?

i am a big fan of Ubuntu desktop
and it is really good since i tried 5.10
then ubuntu 6.06 server released
i am wondering if it is as good as the desktop?
does it have some uniq features like Yast for SuSE?

on the other hand, the server was using a really old FreeBSD
should i just upgrade it to the latest version?

i read some documents and they are just telling how good each system is
didn't see a good compare artical yet

the services i need:
gateway(iptables)
apache
mysql
dhcpd
bind

PS: it is not a busy gateway, no traffic from Friday to Sunday, so i
do have enough time to try out something new.
