Microsoft前不久提到 "如果消费者需要OpenDocument，MS
Office将提供对其的支持――亦如PDF"，近日已有一群志愿者建立了一个名为 "OpenDocument Fellowship"
的全球志愿者组织，他们倡导"OpenDocument for an Open Future"，并建议人们签署一封名为Demand
OpenDocument 的请愿信 "我要求Micosoft在其Office产品中提供对OASIS OpenDocument
的全面支持，包括依照规范提供对OpenDocument文档读、写和编辑的功能。"，目前已有960多人为50000多台计算机签署了这封请愿信，该组织还呼吁人们在自己的站点加上"Demand
OpenDocument" 的图标。
