My only concern was as I mentioned before, when I last looked at the LPIC exams (about 3 years ago) the material seemed to be very outdated. Things may have (hopefully) changed and been updated by now so definitely worth looking into. I also found these guys who offer training and the LPI exams with prices <a href="https://www.linuxcertification.co.za/">https://www.linuxcertification.co.za/</a> although they could probably do with investing in a decent web dev to updated their site.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks</div><div>Paolo</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On 19 Sep 2017 3:38 pm, "Bill T" <<a href="mailto:bturner02.sa@gmail.com" target="_blank">bturner02.sa@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br type="attribution"><blockquote class="gmail-m_2192185297403801027m_-2901314946784940981m_212981976383544620quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">

<div>To be clear, I am not trying to push Redhat on Ubuntu users

looked the the likes of the comptia exam, they were still
teaching people about IRQ conflicts between 28k modems and

are still vitally important to understand, in the real world,
it in less common to come across those issues. </div>

I've been using linux for about 5 years now, and have become

The thing is Redhat is an RPM based system so anyone comfortable
with Ubuntu may not find those courses suitable. A quick Google
found :- <br>
