Hi Guys<br>
<br>
The latest full circle magazine finally answered some long standing
questions for me. I thought I'd share it with those that are still
uninformed (like me). <br>
<br>
<b>1. Special characters on vowels.<br>
</b>Press <alt gr> with an accent key, lift hand, then press
the vowel key.<br>
e.g. 'ä' = <alt gr><;> <a><br>
<br>
It's also very easy to remember the accent key, because the key or
<shift> character for the key looks similar to the special
character:<br>
<br>
; or : --> ë --> <alt gr>+<;> <e><br>
' or " --> é<br>
\ or | --> è<br>
6 or ^ --> ê<br>
<br>
<b>2. Currency symbols<br>
</b>Not all currency symbols appear on all keyboards. <alt
gr> has the answer once more:<br>
<br>
<alt gr>+2 --> ¥<br>
<alt gr>+3 --> £<br>
<alt gr>+4 --> $<br>
<alt gr>+5 --> €<br>
<br>
Hope this helps someone else out there.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
